Watch this one-minute introduction to Refugio Ministries

The Harvest is plentiful and the workers are few.

Matthew 9:37

Shaun and Stephanie began their cross-cultural work in 2000 when they married and combined their two cultures into one covenant marriage. They began serving in ministry cross-culturally in 2007, and in 2015, they moved their family to southern Spain to help a local church in the community. Following painful cross-cultural experiences and recognizing that other cross-cultural workers shared the same experiences, they began new ministry work in town. They planted two home churches and began serving Spaniards, the international community, and college students in Seville. This ministry was started to provide structured counseling services, training, partnership, and support to cross-cultural workers worldwide. Over the last 15 years, they have become friends with dozens of missionaries and their families. They have become a trusted resource and referral for counseling and support for these missionaries.
